The Purpose Project is a course and digital platform that helps high school students design their lives by prototyping purpose.
Now more than ever, young people feel a mounting pressure to achieve, with an emphasis on grades, test scores, and a laundry list of accomplishments, except one thing tends to get lot within it all, and that's them.
Students feel pressure to go to college to succeed, but few of them felt like they knew exactly why that was their next step. And not surprisingly, some ended up dropping out altogether because they had a hard time finding purpose once they got there. Twenty-year-old Karen summed it best when she said, “I do want to go back, but I don’t want to waste money until I know what I’m going for.”
